Merry Christmas

On Christmas Eve, we ventured out to the Southeast Botanical Gardens again to view a light show. It was really pretty with all of the lights they had there. The displays were mostly based on fish and flowers. It was quite different then the light show I went to last year in Denver. They also give you 1000yen in coupons which we used to buy our food. Which I ended up eating basically a deep fried hot pocket and a crepe. After that we went back and played Christmas trivia game.

Christmas came and we didn't have stockings since they are in storage we improvised with some Japanese style hats. It was a very nice Christmas.

The weekend we spent showing Jack the island and going up to Cape Hedo again. It was a different look this time with it being a little cloudy, but still very beautiful. We also went to Cape Zampa and the Yomitan pottery village. It was really windy that day and the water was really choppy. It was really fun to have the water spray up. We are keeping really busy and doing lots.

  1. The lights do look better than Zoo lights. I think I see Jack peeing in the bushes on the top picture. Happy New Year, be looking for a Skype from us shortly.
